Helping Aryan Learn English for a Better Future
One of our team members, Prerna Advani, has taken a step towards education by teaching a child named Aryan Mukesh (5). Aryan comes from a lower-middle-class family, where his parents cannot speak English. For Aryan to secure a place in a good school, learning English is essential. In December 2017, Prerna took the initiative to teach him English, dedicating 10 hours to his learning.
Prerna shares her experience, saying, “It was astonishing to see how excited Aryan was to learn something new. Although he was very shy at the beginning, he enjoyed learning to write and wanted to practice even during his free time. It was a learning experience for me to see his determination and eagerness to get things right at such a young age. Witnessing his progress and realizing that a small gesture could bring such a positive change in his life was truly enriching.”
The training Aryan received has prepared him better for school admissions and has made him more confident in his learning abilities. Prerna's initiative proves that even small efforts can have a significant impact on a child's life.
