From Nervous Beginnings to HR Excellence: My Journey at 3EA

Home - From Nervous Beginnings to HR Excellence: My Journey at 3EA

I am Ishita Sharma. I joined 3EA as an HR Intern which later got converted into my Associateship. Being the youngest out there and knowing bits about Corporate Culture I was extremely nervous on my very first day of joining the organisation. My experience at 3EA was like a ray of Evolution and knowledge. Everything I thought I knew by the end of each day, the very next day there was another most crucial information I could ever learn before I build my threshold in this field.

My reporting officer eased this journey to the maximum extent with their supportive demeanor. She walked me through the firm's history, its core values, and the consulting process. Provided me with a structured plan for my internship, highlighting the key projects I would be involved in. As a fresher, none of my colleagues and seniors made me feel dull-witted for asking basic questions being a fresher as they trusted my abilities. Interpersonal relations at any organisation are a key factor and I must agree that 3EA is commendable in that approach.

Being in HR Department, compliance with Company Policies by fellow colleagues was one of my KRA. 3EA is extremely professional in their work approach and it reflects in the quality of projects performed. My responsibilities in the HR domain at 3EA included handling recurring tasks that are essential to maintaining the efficiency of HR operations. These tasks ranged from tracking to updating employee records, allowing me to understand the importance of attention to detail in HR functions.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my internship was the opportunity to work on various projects. These projects allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios and challenged me to think critically. Being involved in projects not only expanded my skill set but also increased my confidence in tackling complex HR issues.

A crucial aspect of my role was maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records. This task required meticulous attention to detail and a thorough understanding of the information needed for effective HR management. It taught me the importance of data accuracy in making informed HR decisions.

  1. Hands-on Experience: The internship provided me with hands-on experience in HRMIS software and practical insights into HR operations.
  2. Effective Communication: Regular interactions with my mentor, candidates and colleagues improved my communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Understanding HR Policies: Learning about policies and maintaining employee records strengthened my understanding of HR policies and compliance.
  4. Top notch Hiring: In my recruiting responsibilities, I got the opportunity to hire for High Profile job roles that made me comprehend the sensitivity and responsibility of being an HR.

It was a transformative journey that allowed me to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Ever so grateful to Sir & Ma’am for recognising the potential in me that gave an outstanding threshold to my professional Career. The person I was when I began employment here and the person I am today has a difference of Developed visions, strategic mindset and flexible approach in my personality.
